We announce with sadness the passing of longtime Thoreau Society member Bob Galvin, who served several terms on the TS board of directors and generously donated his assistance in the revision of bylaws and other legal matters. He attended all but one Annual Gathering over the last more than 35 years. A tribute to Bob will be published in a forthcoming Thoreau Society Bulletin. His obituary, which
