This July, Thoreau Society members living in all 50 states and 20 other countries around the world will have the opportunity to participate in the 80th Annual Gathering of The Thoreau Society, “Thoreau and Diversity: People, Principles, and Politics,” July 8-11, 2021.

Due to ongoing health concerns related to COVID-19, The Thoreau Society is planning an exciting, full, entirely online conference.

We are making every effort to ensure that the conference will be a fully interactive reunion for our Thoreau Society family. New York Times best-selling author Dr. Ibram X. Kendi will join us as our featured Dana S. Brigham Memorial Keynote speaker.
