The
Shop at Walden Pond
is located at 915 Walden Street, Concord, MA
across the street from Walden Pond, where Henry D. Thoreau,
the great American philosopher and writer spent two years, two
months, and two days in a
cabin he built and where he supported himself by day labor.
The Shop is located
at the Walden Pond State Reservation headquarters, where you
can also find information on the Friends of Walden Pond,
an activity of the Thoreau Society.
Our
staff is on hand to answer your questions.
The
Physical Shop is Open:
March 1 to May 23, 2008: Daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May 24 to
Labor Day, 2008: Daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We're
located directly across from Walden Pond on Route 126, next to
the main parking area.
